Texas Old Town Knotties

Are there any Knotties interested in Texas Old Town? What is your feel of the place? What have you heard?

    I'm getting married there in December and so glad with the choice of going with them. And I received a great deal since I'm getting married in the off season- no other major venue came close to the price. Plus you get the entire venue from 8am-midnight, and all chairs and tables.

    I love the fact that you can pick ANY vendor you want (with the exception of the bartenders). It's made this planning process so much easier because I can pick the caterer I want along with everything else.

    I know some people compare TOT to Star Hill Ranch. I did visit SHR as well and although I liked it because it had the same vibe as TOT, I didn't like the different buildings everywhere. I don't want to shuffle my guests from one building for cocktail hour, then another for dinner, then another etc etc

    I'm getting married there next month. So far, no major hitches. I went there last week to try to plan how I'm going to set the hall up, and I fell in love with it again. I agree with Sheaday that the price can't be beat, and it's in the contract they will clean up after the party! We loved the natural beauty and all the added bonuses (long time, clean-up, price!).

    I am getting married at Star Hill Ranch in September. I LOVE IT! The owner, Adam, is very easy to deal with. You pick ALL of your own vendors and he's very passive about everything. He is quick to answer all of my questions (and everyone elses).  I have been incredibly happy with Star Hill as far as planning goes. It's been a breeeeeze :)
