What do you wear under there?

The dress, I mean!  What's the consensus?  I have my first fitting (yay!!) in two weeks and have NO IDEA what to wear under the dress!  And they said I have to have my undergarments that I'm wearing that day...

    honestly=ask the people who you are getting the dress from. diferent dresses call for different undergarments.
    mary's corsetiers in woodbury is excellent once you know what kind you need.

    i had cups sewn into the dress and i wore a thong which didn't show under my mermaid style gown

    Ok, I always see/hear about people wearing slips.  I don't normally wear slips but don't want any faux pas at the wedding (or fitting).  Thanks.
