Need opinions on STD....

So I'm doing a postcard theme STD. My question is should I send like a real postcard (no envelope) or should I put in an envelope? My concerns are if it will get messed up in the delivery process without and envelope, but then with the envelope it takes away from the "postcard" theme (and would have to put the address twice?).

What do you ladies think??

I would send it as a postcard...I think the handling is kinda gives it the real postcard feeling (like the stamps and stuff)

The postcard would definitely be unique and people barely receive them anymore so it will be ultra special and be perfect!

Postcard! even if it gets a little messed up it would give it the original touch

I sent mine as a postcard and everything was fine, they didnt get messed up at all (I even sent one to myself to see), and I agree with the previous posts, even if they did it'll give that real postcard-y look!! The only thing I wasnt crazy about was that they stuck a long thin white strip along the edge of the front of the card so it blocked some of the picture...it was easy to peel right off though, which most of my guests said they did.

I also sent post cards and people really liked them. There something unique now a days.

i sent post cards in envelopes... i know it takes away from the initial feel of getting a postcard, but as soon as they opened it i bet they forgot about that... i just didn't want that big white strip across mine. I'm sure it would be perfectly fine to send it just as a postcard though too
