  I know of some great parks but since they are owned by the city I'm not sure if you can do something like that. I'd call around if I were you.

  The only one I've been to is Sunset Park. It's seems nice there, but I usually see it set up for ren fair.

  A lot of the parks do have picnic areas that you can reserve.  You'll want to check not just the county, but also the city of Las Vegas, Henderson and North Las Vegas for available parks.

  Sunset Park is nice because it has a lot of trees and a large man made water feature. But, keep in mind that airplanes fly right over it every few minutes-- as I recall.

  I have been looking into this too, even if only for a ceremony in a park to cut costs. I am hopeful that sympony park will be opened on time for my wedding and that they will allow ceremonies.
