XP: DB Rant from yesterday
Hi Ladies,
I just want to share a story incase anyone here is using david's bridal or planning on it. I bought my dress there and had my alterations done there. I had no issues. When I had my alterations done they told me to bring in my dress two weeks before my wedding date to get steamed for free. I made an appointment and went in today. The lady opens the bag and tells me the dress has already been steamed. I said, no it hasn't. She said Did you have alterations done? I said yes. She said, unless you SPECIFICALLY tell them NOT to steam your dress, they do it when the alterations are complete. So, since it's already been steamed, they won't do it again. Or they will, but it'd cost me $40! WHAT?! I was so pissed. I said absolutely not and walked out after arguing for a while. I would never have had my alterations done 2 months before for them to steam my dress and then me having it laid on a bed for all that time. AGH! So, the point being, their communication sucks. And if you're having your alterations done there, tell them not to steam it. This is the DB in Dedham.
