Looking for a good videographer - under $1k???

Does anyone have recommendations for a videographer that costs UNDER $1,000.00? I've searched previous posts and most of the ones recommended now costs hundreds more (i.e. Robert Cawthorne)! I am looking for full day coverage (i.e. both ceremony and reception) and with HD. Thanks in advance!!

You can try calling our videographer, 815-478-7500 they are Midwest Video Productions of Illinois. Their website is www.midwestvideoproductions.com They have several wedding packages, but they offer a budget HD package too. I don't know if it is under $1,000 or not.

We are using Jolie Images for pictures and haven't booked the video yet but we're going to. I think they are right around 1k.

We just booked Go Wedding Video for our wedding in September. Their basic package is $1145, but it includes a lot. They also have awesome reviews, and it's just a husband and wife that run the company out of their home. I think the website said they've been doing it for 10 years, and they have 5 or 6 sample highlight videos on their website.

We are using Shilo Studios in Aurora, IL. I know their all day package is over $1,000 but they do offer packages under $1,000. http://shilohstudio.biz/Shiloh_Studio/Wedding_Main.html

I would also suggest if you find someone you really like and they are out of your budget, try to negotiate with them to get the price down and see if they are willing to give you a discounted price. If they are a one or two man shop, the might be more willing to be flexible. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Thanks for all the rec's, but unfortunately Shilo Studios has merged with another company and their prices MORE THAN DOUBLED! Cheapest package I saw was over $2k now! Anyone else???

Try PD Video..We booked Frank and I know he has packages under 1,000. He has been great so far!

Really? I didn't know that! Sorry to mislead you, when I checked online recently it said call for prices so I wasn't aware.

I'd also recommend PD Video. I booked Frank for my September wedding; he has very affordable packages (under 1k) and has been nothing but a pleasure to work with so far

Charlotte-- I'm so glad there's someone else out there that has booked him! I was starting to get worried! You'll have to let me know how it goes in September...where is your reception?
