Peacock feather theme

I am doing a peacock feather theme in my wedding. Just wondering if anyone has seen this doon before. There are lots of ideas on the internet, but I was just wondering if anyone has ever seen a wedding that used peacock feathers. I already bought the feathers from a guy who owns peacocks and he sold them to me VERY cheap! I am using them in the table decorations, bouquets, bouteniers (sp), invites,etc. So if anyone sees any unique ideas i would ove to hear about them! My main color is purple with blue and blue-green accents.

That sounds really pretty. I know there was a bride on the DIY board that did peacocks. From her pictures it looked amazing!

At the bridal show today there was a cake table that had the cake on a stand, then all of the peacock feathers on the table itself. I hope that made sense. I didn't take a picture, sorry.

Medusia00, I saw that cake too!!!! I wanted a picture of one of their cakes but there was, no picture allowed signs posted so I didn't. It was cool how they did the peacock feathers. I haven't seen it in a wedding but my stepmom and I were just talking about how it seems to be seen alot lately so it must be getting popular. I am thinking of having pheasant feathers in my bouquet.(Fall wedding) That sounds kind of goofy but I found a picture that looks really awsome!!! I say go for it!!!!!! Especially with your colors!!!!!!! I would just google wedding-peacock feathers.

check out www.save-on-crafts.com they have feathers and are pretty cheap!
