it's all about them? Do they ever ask how you are or what's going on in your life?! Its aggravating to me that this happening and it shouldn't let it bother me but it does. Grrrrrrrrrr.

They wanted to be the first to get married.

Now it's a rush to buy a house, too bad we already have one.

And I'm sure they'll rush to get pregnant too.

Sorry ladies and gent but I had to vent.

    Ouch!  Yeah, those people who ask you what's going on in your life so they can measure their own success or failure by it.  Or if you have a problem, they always have to "one up" yours with their own.  Hopefully this is someone you can somewhat ignore (and won't be at your wedding to try and steal your thunder)  instead of a close family member/friend.

    I once had a "friend" like that... where everything was a competition.  We're not friends anymore, though.  She did a lot of crazy things like get into my e-mail and send horrible messages to my friends and it was the last straw.  But her crazy behavior was a the reason I met my FI so...  I guess I'll give her that.
