My invitations came in a week or two ago and were sent to my mother as she ordered them. She sent one to us and I got it yesterday. They're really pretty and classic - soft white color all over, just a simple border, royal blue text. Overall, I'm happy with them, but even after doing multiple proofs, they left out this one tiny detail (putting the word 'over' on the inside of the folded reception/brunch/accommodations card so that people know to turn it over to look at the back). Not a huge deal, but what if people don't turn it over and see the hotel info? My mom is checking to see if they will reprint for free. If not, oh well.
And the other thing is that these invitations ended up costing $500. Not a terrible price overall, but kind of a lot for their simplicity. My mom had assured me that they would be less as $500 was the absolute most I wanted to pay (and ideally, wanted it to be under that!!), but I don't think she stopped to add up every little thing. Now I'm right at my paper budget once I add in stamps when I wanted to be under. I'm going to make my ceremony programs really simple and order my RD invitations off VP, so those will be cheap, but still! I wanted some leeway.
At least they're nice.
