XP: Outdoor location help

 Hello from a Colorado Nestie!
So my SIL is engaged and having a hard time making the major decisions that come with the planning. I told her that I would ask here for suggestions on a location. She is looking for something "outdoors" "nice" and "picturesque." Any and all suggestions are appreciated, bonus points for websites.

TIA (:

Best of luck with the rest of your planning, we look forward to seeing you all on The Nest!

There are a lot of good outdoor choices in and around Denver.  Is there a specific area she would like to stay close to, i.e. Aruora, Lakewood, Highlands Ranch, etc?  Or does she want a mountain feel or something more urban?

A couple of the places we looked at were:

    Denver Botanic Gardens

    Red Rocks
    www.hudsongardens.org/">
    Hudson Gardens

We ended up going with the Botanic Gardens because of all the different photography options we would have and because we absolutely loved it.  I hope that helps.

I just noticed that the links I put in aren't obvious.  If you mouse over the locations they are actually links to the websites.

There is a few neat places in the Littleon area. For example, the Hudson gardens and riverfront.  Also there is always the Botanical gardens in Denver.  Red Rocks is a cool place too. I will keep my eye out if I see anymore.

I just saw a wedding on Style Me Pretty that was held at the Garden of the Gods Club in Colorado Springs. The pictures were beautiful.

I'm getting married at the chapel at Red Rocks and I love it.  I looked at a bunch of places, but most places either wouldn't allow a tent, wouldn't do a ceremony if we weren't doing the reception there as well, or were out of our price range.  The woman I spoke to at Hudson Gardens was really snotty to me over the phone, but I may have just gotten her on a bad day.  She actually had the nerve to lecture me about choosing a different reception site, then told me that she couldn't help me and I'd have to live with my decision!
