Hi there.  My wedding is in November at LCFCC so I can't give you experience on how it was but I can give you how it has been so far.  So far it has been great they are very accomodating to all my little requests and they are very responsive.  They are completely remodling the place so it will be updated from the 70's look it has now, and they have a new events director and she is making sure that the design of the place is amazing.  Now here is the best part their chef is amazing.  We went for our food tasting a little while back and all the food was so good I wanted our wedding to be right then so I could eat it again.

The only con I have found so far is that you do have to end your reception a little early for some people you only get 5 hours so if you have party animals it wouldn't work very well.  You can pay for more hours but it is a little expensive.  You are only allowed to use one of the 2 bakeries that they use and both aren't great on service.  Their cakes taste great and they do amazing work but one is a little hard to get a hold of and you can't get a call back from them and the other is a huge bakery and it isn't a huge personal experience which was disappointing.

I hope that helps and if you have any more questions, please ask.  GL!

KikiKatie9, thanks for your feedback. Im glad to hear you had a good experience with the coordinator. I met w/ her this past Saturday and I liked her and the venue. I would love to stay in touch w/ you to find out how you liked the event for your wedding reception. Are you having your ceremony there as well?

Yeah she is really great I'm so happy they brought her in. She is making so many changes for the better.  Of course you can always page me on here or you can email me anytime at  knotname@yahoo.com.  No I am having my ceremony at the San Gabriel Mission but I have seen a few weddings there, they are really nice.  When are you planning your wedding for?

My SIL had her wedding there in '08.  The food was really good and the view was awesome.  I'd hire a DOC as theirs disappears as soon as the reception starts. It was sort of chaotic.  And the bridal suite they gave us had the AC broken and we were all sweating (it was july) and finally they put us in another room after we begged them to.  Overall  it's fantastic!

No problem, anytime.  The Mission might be hard for you to have the ceremony at, they require you be a member or an alumni of the high school to get married there.  Definitely let me know if you have anymore questions.   Laughing

LCFCC was one of my top choices as well; but my date conflicted.  But I can attest for their amazing food!  The chef was awesome and everyone (including chef) seemed really nice and accomodating!
