Congrats on your engagement! The first thing you'll need to figure out is a rough estimate of your guest count and an amount you're able to spend total on the whole wedding (keeping in mind that the ceremony and reception will be about 40-50% of the whole amount you'll spend). After that, it's just getting all your vendors together starting with the big stuff like venue, church, music (DJ/band), food & bev., flowers, transportation, dresses & tuxes, etc.

Congrats on your engagement and welcome to the board.  I find the monthly board is really helpful if you know when you're getting married.  Figure out a date and budget, then go to look at locations.  I'm not familiar with the vineyard at all, sorry.  The cape cod board also might be helpful.

Congratulations! When we got engaged in December,  I bought an AWESOME wedding planning book that helped me plan my ENTIRE budget. It's called "The Very Best Wedding Planner Organizer and Keepsake. It broke everything down for me cause it can be a little overwhelming. The knot's checklist is also helpful as well.
