Suggestions Please

I am completely stumped on two certain songs.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
1) Seating of the Parents and grandparents
and
2) Mother/Son Dance

As far as #2 goes, what kind of a relationship does FI have with his mom? If the're cold and distant, then "You've got a Friend" wouldn't be the best choice.  "What a Wonderful World" is always safe.

He's close with his mom, but he has always been kind of a "daddy's boy"
If they had Father/Son dances i could think of a ton. lol
No but really, they are close, and i have asked her if there is anything that she would like to dance with him to and she has no idea.

Why not let your FI and/or his mom choose what they dance to.  I chose the song for my dance with my son at his wedding, and was grateful that he and his wife gave me that choice to make.

As for seating of the grandparents/parents:  if you're having a church wedding, I'd just let the organist choose the music.  I am a church organist, and I have a piece of music that I generally use because it so easily tailored to the time needed~I can make it longer or shorter as needed.

And I promise you that no one is really listening and analyzing the music that the parents and grandparents are seated to.  Here's a reality check:  what was the music for the parents seating at the last 6 weddings you attended.  I'm 100% sure that you don't know.  Because really, no one cares except the bride who's worrying about something neither she nor the groom will actually hear anyway.

Just choose a piece of music, or let your music professional handle this one.  It's so not a big deal.
"Trix, it's what they/our parents wanted. Why so judgemental? And why is your wedding date over a year and a half ago? And why do you not have a groom's name? And why have you posted over 12,000 posts? And why do you always say mean things to brides?" palegirl146

My fiance and his mother are dancing to 'I hope you dance'. Mom's choice. Why don't you let his mother choose. It was SO much easier to have her choose - one less desicion i had to make!
