Name Change

Hey everyone!!

So I have a delima, I need to get a passport for our honeymoon in Sept. We are getting married in July. I do plan on changing my name and our honeymoon plans are made with my maiden name. So when should I do the name change bit? Since I have to have my maiden name for the honeymoon..... Any suggestions???

    Apply for the passport now in your maiden name and wait till after the honeymoon to do your name change. If you apply for a name change on your passport within a year of the original issue date of your original passport, it is free. Otherwise it is like 100 bucks!

    PP is correct.  You need to make sure your passport matches what will be printed on your airline tickets.
