Aria is now scheduled to open...

I've seen a few ppl stating that Aria will open Jan 2013 but I  actually just spoke to Joe about 5 mins ago from Aria bc we havnt officially put a deposit on The Gershon Room yet... and he informed me that they are holding off until May 1st 2013. They have 2 Ballrooms and of course they are opening the grand ballroom 1st, followed by the smaller one in the fall 2013. 

Early booking prices are as follows: 

Thurs. night $59 pp ? p min.
Friday night $84 pp 165 p min.
Sat. Afternoon $74.95 pp Sat. night $89 pp 175 p min.
Sun. $74.95 pp 150 p min.

These prices will change in a few months he said...I'm guess they will get more expensive!

IMO, there person minimums are too high!

    Agreed, those guest minimums are outrageous.  175 people?  No thanks.

    That does seem odd.  Some of those prices are literally less than half pp at our venue but the number is crazy!

    I've seen 150 min but 175 seems odd...wonder why? Good prices though.

    The most I saw from the places I looked at was 100 person minimum!

    I couldn't believe the minimums as I was writing them down! I had to say, "Can you say that again" bc I was shocked! The most I have even seen was a 150 minimum! I guess they get you with the prices bc the prices are perfect!...then comes the minimums which are a total let down!

    I booked Aria.....

    The minimums are becuase it literally is a GRAND BALLROOM that holds 400...it doesnt get cut in half with doors to make it smalled. The 2 rooms are on complete opposite sides of the building so your wedding is not on the other wall to someone elses at the same exact time. That was a huge selling point for me!!!!!!!  We are at 205 invited and it keeps going up. I want stations and lots of them so the room is perfect to fit all the people and a bunch of stations!!!!!

    I cant wait!!!!!!
