So I finally sent in my deposit checks for two vendors...YAY! I booked Heidi Cramer of Cake Bakery (great tasting cakes! YUM!) and as for my florist, I chose Michelle at Pacific Blue Floral! She was amazing.
Michelle called me to do a consultation over the phone, asked me a ton of questions to really get a feel for what I wanted out of the flowers. She said she'd have a proposal ready for me in about a week, which she stuck to, and it was extremely thorough and it went over every single aspect of the wedding that needed flowers. GREAT proposal! She revised it a few times until I was ready to sign and she even quoted me an unbeatable price for everything!
My WC also does flowers, but quoted me $1400 for a bridal bouquet, 6 bridesmaids bouquets, and 7 floral arrangements. Michelle quoted me for EVERYTHING from the leis (9), boutonnieres (1 for my FI), cocktail table arrangements (3), guest sign-in table, bouquets (1 bridal + 6 BMs), table arrangements (ALL 12), sweetheart table arrangement, tossing bouquet, flowers for the cake and flowers for my hair and she came out to a couple hundred dollars more than what my WC had quoted me! Anyway, really happy that I snagged up Michelle. She is so easy to work with and responds VERY quickly. So excited to see what she comes up with since I gave her a ton of options for flowers!
Wish our wedding were sooner...I feel like I'm done planning!
