kids on a yacht?

HELP! I am planning my wedding (a year away) and it will be on a yacht. I am worried about kids being on the yacht, people (parents) drinking and a kid wondering off or possibly falling overboard. It is a very horrible thing to think about but i cant help it!! I have 2 small children and they will definitley be there so how do i allow MY childrent but not other children??? Not to mention there are LOTS of small children (ages 2-5) in our families most of which are very curious...
Advise please!!

    I know that this might come off a little mean or harsh and I'm not trying to, but you really should take a deep breath. You are WAY overthinking this.
    One can find a "concern" with any venue on land or at sea if they really want to. Mine has a brick entryway/patio , and stairs. And it's off of a pretty busy and popular street...and we'll have heat lamps outside. I'm not worried about the kids falling down the stairs, and never considered that it could be possible they might run into the street, or that they might touch the heat lamps and get a severe burn.
    If you don't trust that your friends will be able to control themselves and/or that they will suddenly become irresponsible parents and allow their children to run wild at your wedding, you might want to re-think the people you are inviting (period)...or maybe just don't serve alcohol.
    Bottom line though, if you don't want kids, I think you can say "no kids". It's your wedding. I don't have my own so i can't say from a parent's point of view, but as a guest, if I saw the bride's children at a wedding, I wouldn't be surprised if I happened not to see any others.

    1. You may want to rethink putting your full name (if that's your full name) for your screen name.  If you want to change it you ned to create a new account.

    2. You can't be the first one who has booked this yacht to have this concern.  Talk to the manager of the boat and see what he recommends.  He may actually recommend not having too many little ones.  If that's the case it's perfectly acceptable to have your kids there and no one else's.  When you do the invites just put the names of each person invited (as you normally would) and then try to have family and friends spread the word.  ("No kids" and "Adults Only" should never be put on invitations).
