Hi ladies,
My mom's hosting us an engagement party. It's a plated meal and guests will have their choice of one of two entrees - but we need to submit a count for each entree a week before the party.
We're planning to have people RSVP via email. I'm wondering if it would be better to....
a. include an insert with the invite basically saying (but in more formal words) "When RSVP'ing, please list your preference of steak or chicken"
or
b. after receiving each RSVP email accepting the invitation, reply with introducing the two choices and asking their preference.
