Should I be worried?

So I don't want to be stressing myself over nothing, but I don't know the shipping date of my dress that I bought almost 3 weeks ago.  Is this normal to not know when you buy the dress?

I bought my dress at Natasha's Bridal in Methuen, MA it's a Casablanca, they said that the dresses are made overseas in China so they had to wait for the company to let them know when it will be ready.  I've called the store twice to make sure that everything is on track and all they can tell me is that dresses "usually take up to 6-8 mo to come in, but we'll check on this and call you back".  My wedding is in less than 9 mo now and when I bought the dress I was told it will probably come in May or June because I had a custom corset back put on.

Sorry to vent I just want to make sure I'm going to get a dress!

Sorry...kind of sort of non related question! Do all of their dresses take this long? The reason I'm asking is that I am going to this store on Saturday to find my dress...I am getting married in July of this year, so I don't have 6-8 months to order a dress!

It is VERY common for them not to have a ship date for you. Stores will usually give you a time in which you should order and they will have an idea of when it will come in but I did not receive an official ship date until much closer to the wedding. Give it a few months before panicking.
