Hi Ladies, First of all are these the same thing? (i know i should know this) and second are you making these or ordering them from somewhere?? please let me know! thanks :)

    I bought ones at Michaels that you can print on from your printer at home.  It gives you a link where you can download a template.  I am not sure the only difference may be escort cards are set on a table telling people what table they are assigned to and place cards would be for a specific assgined seat on the table where they are sitting.

    Yes, they are the same thing. And I had bought cards from Staples but we decided to pay $0.75 each to have my venue print them out for us.

    I ordered mine from Vistaprint - just took their folded business cards and the only words on it are "TABLE ________"

    I'll have to fill them out by hand, but I don't mind.  There was a Living Social deal so I only paid $10 for them, plus shipping (I got some labels too).  They should be delivered tomorrow!!!

    I do have a question though - for couples do I put both names on the card or make a separate card for each person?

    yes they are the same!  i am getting them printed because i had wrote all my invites and that was enough writing for me.  these are mine except we r doing all starfish

    we are making our own because they are very unique. its been a little bit of a challenge.. but they will look great in the end!!

    Mine are not the same thing.  I am using paper umbrellas (for drinks) as my escort cards to let guests know which table to go to.  At each table I am also having a place card color coded to their meal choice so servers know who is eating what.
