HOLD THE PHONE.

Okay, awesome Etsy person just messaged me back with samples (yay!), and somehow "guessed" that FI's name is Joshua. I mean, I signed my first name on the bottom of my messages.... but she changed the first names on the invites to mine and his (originally the sample said "Timothy").

So, if this person is one of you guys, I DEMAND CONFESSION!

Mostly because I think your design is fantastic and I think you should be known to these other potential brides who might order invites from your reasonably priced store.

(maybe she looked up jeanacorina on facebook, I dunno, I don't even know if my facebook page shows my relationship status, though!)

    I think I like no pink.  I really like all of the extra stuff (the envelopes, thanks yous..) and they don't have the pink on it.  Either way they're great!

    Those are great!! Are they engraved or just printed? I also vote no pink, it seems busy with the pink.

    Whatever I choose, everything will match. So it will all be purple. I think I agree the pink is a little busy. The purple and beige looks nice.

    I think the invites are just printed, but the paper appears to be very nice, heavy paper. I am going to order a hard copy sample, obviously.

    But I love the birds. Reminds me of the day we met..... Cool

    The invitations are adorable!!! :)

    That is one thing I don't care for on TK...if you're a bride and a vendor, you cannot mention your abilities at all without risking getting booted off TK. I understand that they don't want vendors coming on the boards and trolling brides, but there are brides that are on here for their own wedding advice, but can lend vendor-specific advice without fishing for clients.

    Great example? I gave one bride advice concerning the best clothes to wear for her engagement photos from the point of view of a photographer (as in, what I've found photographs best), and I was threatened with getting booted for being a vendor. I was in no way, shape or form looking to take her business - I was trying to give advice - but apparently, that didn't matter. This could be why whomever emailed you via etsy isn't approaching you here on the boards.

    They are gorgeous. I agree to leave off the pink (even though I absolutely love pink).

    Oh and Im totally with hetshup on the crinoline. I didnt put it on your other thread but I too will hunt  you down if you dont do it. I think that would be so amazing!

    Oceana, that's redonkulous. Well, pfft--- FINE. The person on Etsy is event123 and she seems to be pretty amazing. She's got 100% positive reviews, and she's been really helpful to me with all my little questions so far. She responds within a day, with a very friendly, positive attitude, and I love her.

    Josh has given me the go-ahead to order these invitations. He likes that they're $80 cheaper than the pro ones we looked at. Innocent

    And also, the lovebirds are perfect.

    Jeana, I was looking at invites on Etsy - how much is it going to cost you per invite when all is said and done? Just curious b/c I'm not sure if it's worth it for me to DIY or order them.

    These are the prices for the invites I'm getting:

    Invitation: 1.25
    RSVP: 1.25
    Directions/map: 1.25
    TOTAL (for 100): $375

    Thank You cards are 1.00 each. Haven't decided if I'll get those.

    Everything comes with matching envelopes, with my return adress already printed. All I have to do is print my guest addresses and stick on a stamp! I don't have the time for DIY (especially considering my whole family is in WV, so I don't have any help), this is really the best option I've found for me. Innocent

    Another vote for no pink.  It makes it look cluttered, or like the printer messed up and made three leaves randomly darker than the others.  LOVE the bird design though.

    I bet it's Mutley.  Didn't she design Sapphire's programs and they were awesome?

    Eh, I think this chick is a stay at home mom. Mutley isn't (yet?). But I just bombarded the poor girl with a ton of questions, and asked if she can make matching favor tags. I bet they'd be way more awesome than the ones in the Knot shop!

    I just got a reply to my million questions. I am just so impressed. Everything is "Yes I can do that. Not a problem at all. Absolutely. You can choose whichever you like. Just let me know."

    Everything she says is very can-do and very polite. I'm ordering a sample now, so I will let you ladies know when it comes in (she said that I can certainly order my sample in my wedding colors). I am just so thrilled. Am I going hormonal or something? I dunno. But I just want to hug someone!

    Haha.  It is not me.  I am considering opening up an etsy shop though.  I love doing all of that sort of stuff (and I definitely have the time.)  I just finished up my MOH's invites before Christmas.  This weekend I have to finish the invites for her bridal shower and bachelorette party.   

    Jeanna, I love them.  They seem very you.  I do like the pink.  I think it gives another dimension.
