Has it been ridiculously hot elsewhere? We've been having a lot of record breaking weather in Wisconsin this past week and it's finally starting to come down! It's been in the low 100s, feels like 130s!

It finally and mysteriously dropped like 20 degrees and its down to the high 80s in Chicagoland.. but last week it was 100+ out.. It made me glad that my office is always super, super cold

It's actually been pretty nice in Boston, it's mid 80s, so I'm loving it. Sorry for all you with hot weather, hope it cools down soon!

In Indianapolis, it's finally cooled off but we are still in a drought and no rain in sight. It has been in the 100s for almost 2 weeks. This week it's supposed to be in the 80s or 90s

Ridiculously hot here in southern Illinois as well. We've been under a burn ban with really bad brought conditions. It finally poured last night, and I'm hoping for more rain (which I never hope for as someone in a weather dependent business).

It's currently 104, looking at a high of 108 today. Sadly, this is business as ususal for us Arizonians.

Here on LI it was really bad last week, and Saturday it was up near 97. We had our block party that day too, so FI and I had to go out and buy a huge tent to make more shade for our guests. It was still fun though, but gross out. The pool water became really warm though because of it. This week it is supposed to be in the 80's, so not so bad.

I was in Iowa last week and yes hot and stinking humid. It averaged about 103 with heat index of 110 the whole time I was there. Here in Texas averaging between 95-100. It's a dry heat so it was worse in Iowa.

I'm also in WI and I can say today has felt amazing compared to the last week. I literally slept a couple hours after just being out in the heat an hour on Friday. I've never had my car read the temperature to 106 before.

It's actually clouding up a bit outside my window currently so hopefully it rains!! It poured an hour ago back home which is an hour and a half south of where I am now..just across the WI/ IL border. I was super glad to hear it since the corn needs the rain so my dad can have work harvesting this fall. Although, it seems the corn is looking worse up here than down there.

I heard from an aide at Summer School that it's suppose to get really hot again this weekend and next week.

I was in LA on vacation all last week and the weather was amazing! Apparently they don't have humidity out there, and it goes down to the 60s at night! My mom (who lives in Philly) was texting me about the weather all week and I guess they had temps up in the 100s back home! Now that I'm back home the heat wave has calmed down a little, but the humidity here is the worst. I am so glad I'm not getting married in July!

The last two weeks it has been high90's100s with heat index of 110! But the last three days have been in the 80s which has been a HUGE relief. Tomorrow's low is 62!

So it's not just WI! Hope the weather improves for all of us and that we get some rain! Keep cool and enjoy the week before the bad stuff hits again! I know it sounds like complaining to those of you who live in TX, AZ, etc, but this truly is a diff heat. We've had out of town guests from CA and Puerto Rico who can't stand our summers bc of the hot sticky mess!

It has been extremely hot here in Florida. Man, wish I had a pool. I would swim in that thing all day everyday. Instead, I am just spending my time indoors studying for the GRE.
