Venue booked!!

Hey all,

Just a quick update. We faxed off the booking form today for the venue!! We're doing the ceremony and reception at the Outrigger Reef in Waikiki. They had a package that included everything, so we're actually almost done planning now, which is what we wanted. Very excited. Thanks for the earlier advice ladies!!

Thanks everyone. We don't have a WC. The hotel had a wedding/reception package that was similar to all-inclusive resorts )flowers, music, etc.) and we're pretty easy going, so figured why not. Going dress shopping again this weekend too.

We are having our ceremony and reception at the Reef as well! Not sure if you worked with Cara, but she was so helpful and her responses are so quick. Have you seen the place in person?

I've liked Cara so far too. She's answered a lot of questions for us. Haven't been there in person. We live in Canada so don't plan to go down. Have you seen it?? What's your date??

No, we haven't seen it in person either, we're from Virginia. We just saw the venue in pictures online and me stalking photographers for their opinions. All of them has said that it is a really cool venue to shoot at. Our date is 10/11/11 and we can't wait!!!

awww you BOTH will love it. Outrigger Reef is really nice. We loved it so much in 2009 that we are having all of our guests stay there for our wedding in June. I bet you are relieved that this is done. Congrats!

Congratulations! Just to forewarrn you, just because all vendors are booked doesn't mean you're done (we thought the same thing). There were song selections, what were we going to do in our program, who was doing toasts, timeline, extra flowers and leis we had not thought about, etc.
