non-ballroom Reception Site in Kentucky??

Hi! I am from Indianapolis and looking for a unique reception site anywhere in Kentucky.  I have been attracted to the manors and bed and breasfast type places.... for example the Castlepost and storybook inn in versailles.  Any suggestions on places to hold a reception for 100-150 guests?  Thanks!!

If you love baseball, you can check out the Louisville Slugger Museum.  Glassworks is also a cool place to get married. Both of those are in Louisville.  You might also check into some of the wineries that are in this area.  I don't know if there are any of the distilleries that would hold a wedding, but that would be awesome.

Are you looking for 2010 or 2011?  2010 is pretty booked becuase of weddings coming up and the FEI games in October.  2011 is going to be a lot more flexible.

    Check out http://www.kevinmoreland.com/vendors/all-locations.html

It's got a huge list of venues.

Buffalo Trace Distillary is nice in Frankfort, but again, it books up early.  Good luck!

I've heard Buffalo Trace is a great site!  Also in Frankfort, there's the Kentucky History Center- that's where our reception is.  There's also Talon Winery in Lexington- that's a very pretty location.  As far as mansions, etc, there's Arlington in Richmond. I went to a wedding there and it was very pretty- it would be perfect for about 100 to 150 people.
