Limo/Bus question

Hi :)

We're inviting about 24 people to our wedding, and going from MB to Maggiano's.  I was planning to rent the 24-passenger bus from Bell Trans (unless someone has another suggestion).  Has anyone rented that bus before?

How long should I book them?  My original thought was 2 hours.... Is it essential to provide transportation BACK to MB after the wedding, especially if some people will want to stay on that end of the strip?  (I have to ask!)

TIA :)

we used Presidential Limo for our strip tour.  they were great.

i have read alot of mixed reviews about Bell Trans.  and, if all you're doing is going from MB to Maggianos, i would only book for an hour (usual minimum).  if Bell Trans has a 2 hour minimum, i would find another company that would let you book for only an hour (or less, if they offer it).

i'm not sure you have to provide transportation back to MB, but it'd be nice.  it's kind of inconvenient, even in Vegas, to have your ceremony and reception so far away from each other, IMO.  i would do what i could to make it a little more convenient for my guests.  but, if people are staying close to Maggianos, i wouldn't feel like i had to provide any transportation.

i would wait on booking the after-reception limo until you knew where all of your guests were staying.

Thanks, Amanda!  I appreciate your help!  So one hour per direction, I'm guessing?  I didn't see a bus that fit 24 people on Presidential's website - I'll have to check with them.

I'll plan to provide both ways.

NYcherly I am doing the exact same thing; MB to Maggianos.  Let me know who you end up going with.  Are you using Maggianos prefered vendors because on the list they have a limo service that has a bus?  Just curious,,,,
Until the first full year of being one! Anniversary

I used the 24 person party bus from Earth Limos to provide transportation from Mirage (all guests stayed here) to Chapel of Flowers and then from the Chapel to Maggianos.  I didn't provide transportation after but we were close by at the Mirage anyway.  Everyone walked with us down the strip back to the hotel (lots of fun with the cars honking and people congratulating us).  If the base hotel is MB I would arrange for transporation after the reception too.

MMK - Maggiano's preferred vendor is Lucky Limousine:

I'm not sure of their prices, however, and I've not really heard any reviews here?

    MarilynFan, thanks for your help!

We aren't since our guests will be heading in different directions, leaving at different times, and some may not be heading back to their hotels rooms until much later that night.  We did note on our itineraries that we will NOT be providing transportation for the way back though so guests can plan ahead to take a taxi or walk.  I was going to book with Bell trans but then I decided on the DD bus. With it being so hot our wedding weekend, I was afraid if the air broke on the bus my guests would sweat to death, at least the DD bus is open air.  If you have the room in your budget I would look into the DD bus.  Our guests are really looking forward too it.

We provided transportation from MB to Maggiano's and then after the reception was over, brought everyone back to MB.  We used Bell Trans and we had a great experience with them! I didn't find them expensive at all, we rented 2 buses for everyone.
