Paypal warning

Someone named Gilbert Rios hacked into my account (probably a fake name) trying to take 7 $500.00 transactions. Five of them hit my bank account this morning and I've been on the phone with paypal and my bank getting this straitened out. All of this happened overnight. Just keep your eyes out ladies... I'm not a fan of having 3500 just be pending in my bank account at 7:00AM in the morning. I didn't even get to go on a fun trip for that kind of money!

    GL getting that straightened out. 

    FI didn't know why I was anxious to check my bank account after our vacation... this is why I check it a few times a week.  Glad you caught it early!  Does your bank have an alert system that flags strange activity?

    Ugh that sucks. I had the same thing happen to be twice with my debit card. Both times it was someone who was able to hack into the system to get tons of account numbers. Luckily, both times everyone was reimbursed right away and they found the peopel who did it.

    BP- What a sucky thing to happen at 7am.  Good luck getting it worked out.
