  I have never been able to get into basketball..lol.
  
  I did one of these ONCE - and honestly - I never even followed up with how I did. Maybe I won. Who knows. lol

  FI and I do one every year with a group of friends from college but I don't know a damn thing about basketball haha. I always just guess my way through. The first year we did it though, I won, much to everyone's amazement! I have MSU and Kansas in the finals with Kansas winning. The ONLY reason I did this was because I'm an MSU grad and they're always good, and the year that I won was in 2008 when Kansas and Memphis played in the finals and Kansas won. So I'm betting on them again. Like I said, I have no idea what I'm doing

  Basketball is my least favorite sport so I don't get into it... my FI, however, has taken today and tomorrow off of work to enjoy his basketball pools hahaha.

  I come from a basketball family and I live in Indiana where basketball is everything. so yes, I am doing one Even though I never seriously played basketball, sometimes I feel like I live and breathe basketball and I would be content watching basketball for 24/7 during March Madness. so yay for this thread
  
  NC v. MSU in the finals, MSU winning 76-70 I always try to pick different from the norm we will see.
  
  I am a Butler grad, and I always put them through to the championship when they play. ALWAYS. so the last two years I did realllllly well. This year will be a different story.

  I'm a die-hard football fan, and i'm becoming a soccer fan due to FI - we go see the Columbus Crew a few times a year - and I can TOLERATE baseball - but for some reason..basketball just does nothing for me.

  Oh, believe me. I have little interest in basketball. I just like messing around with brackets. That part is fun.

  Same with us... with all of our NY teams, people live and breathe football around here. 
  
  It's football and hockey for us... baseball is also huge here, but we would rather check out our local amateur team games than the major leagues. 
  
  Basketball doesn't do anything for me, either... I can't even give a good reason why. haha

  I usually choose the winner based on 1) how much I like the school involved and/or whether I knew/liked someone who went there, 2) how much I like the team's state/city, and 3) how they are ranked. Usually mostly 1 & 2, but the tiebreaker's usually 3.

  We're really good friends with our 2 guy neighbors and all four of us usually take Thursday and Friday off to watch the games. hahaha...everyone thinks we're crazy. This year FI and I have both been working from home quite a bit though, so we're half working today.
