    We haven't figured that out yet- I'm thinking seating charts instead of escort cards.  I want it to be clear and simple for me!

    I actually got a bunch of free business cards off Vistaprint that have a floral print that I'll use for escort cards.

    I have pics of them in my planning bio!

    I found little palm trees to hold the seating cards (that is the same as escort cards right?) and I am thinking of instead of table numbers they will have names. Our centerpieces or 3 Olives Bottles so I think I am going to have them listed as the "flavor" being the table name.

    The place where we're having our reception has a large gathering area, where cocktail hour will be. There's a round table in the middle so I'm planning on having a calligrapher write out the escort cards and place them in alphabetical order on the round table, with a tall flower arragement/vase in the middle of the table. Something simple and classic!

    We're just doing tented escort cards. The thing I don't like about the seating charts is that everyone has to crowd around one place, then by the time they find their name/table number, they're on their way to their table, then they get stopped by someone they know, have a conversation, then forget their table number/name and have to go back. At least with an escort card, they've got it in their hands and can remember just by looking down =)

    I found it on weddingbee! Its awesome the guest pull off the card with their name on it and on the back is their table. As they start pulling off their cards which are in black and white it starts to reveal the same picture in color! I can't wait to start that project but that wont be for quite a while as we clearly don't know who will rsvp for a loooong time lol! Here check it out!
