Hey ladies!!
Our wedding was this past Saturday and everything was amazing! Everything turned out beautifully! We had a few hiccups, but the most important part occurred and we're married now!
Thursday was my bachelorette party in Atlanta. My bridesmaids set up a whole day of events. We started off at a pole dancing class, which was a lot of fun and got some moves to use on DH! Then we went to eat at Paschal's (I'm sure you ATL ladies know about this) and the food was great! That night we went out clubbing and saw TO in the club! lol.
Friday I went to get my hair done. I got to the salon at noon and didn't leave until 4:30, which would have been fine, but MIL got some things mixed up and told people the rehearsal was at 4 instead of 5 so people were waiting for me and my bridesmaid to finish with our hair. We finally made it to the base, but had a long ordeal trying to get everyone on base, so rehearsal started very late lol.
Saturday we got up early and got the the chapel at 11am to start with make-up. We found out the air conditioning in the chapel was broken, so it was pretty warm in the sanctuary. It took a while to get all of our make-up done and then we had an issue with the music and ended up starting 30 minutes late. I hate being late, so this gave me some anxiety, but in the end everything turned out great. I was balling as I was walking down the aisle and DH, who said he wouldn't cry, had tears in his eyes. As the pastor was saying the prayer you could hear sniffling and it was DH and I both sniffing and holding back tears lol, it was really cute. Because we started late and there was service in the chapel later that night, we had to kind of rush our formal pictures. That is probably the only thing I regret, but we did get some pics.
The reception hall was decorated beautifully!! I barely recognized it from before. Everyone did a wonderful job and the decorations were exactly what I envisioned. We had a lot of people not show up and DH was not happy about that, but overall, it was great and everyone had a great time!
