This weekend I attended wedding of crazy friend. Thankfully her DH is awesome and her level of crazy has improved, but her family is still insane. Amazingly, the wedding was very nice and was without major disasters.
I'll start with the BMs dresses. Most of my friends had been laughing for weeks that none of them were going to fit in their dresses. Nothing could have prepared us for what we saw coming down the aisle. None of them fit properly and it is a true miracle the one girl kept her boobs from flying out. There were serious bets among some of the guys about how long that would take .
Needless to say, all the BMs were miserable most of the night.
Once the dress shock wore off, it was time for the minister start...after an initial typical introduction, he says "could everyone who knows about the trampoline raise their hand". The "trampoline incident" happened the night the bride and groom met, where they both got drunk and made out on my friend's trampoline. Real classy to bring up at the ceremony.
Cocktail was decent, the food was rather scarce, but at least the bar was well stocked. Dinner was not served until 8pm, so everyone was more or less starving by the time we sat down.
Halfway through dinner, one my best friends point out a big bald guy at one of the tables. He is the bodyguard...that controlling FOB hired to keep crazy MOB away from the bride on her wedding day. He was with them the whole day. Crazy MOB cornered me and various friends throughout the night and wouldn't stop talking, but the bodyguard never needed to take any action. The crazy sister of the bride is at least 26 and was dressed in a very childish looking prom dress, complete with gloves and matching flowers in her hair.
But, aside from the BMs, everyone seemed to have a decent time.

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
