What are the best free books? I really like Project Gutenberg
What's your case look like? It's a leather case with a built in light. It's purdy.
Do you have a light? See above. It's built in to the case. It's a really bright light too.
OTher Kindleness I should know? Not right now. Mine is fairly new still.

And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now. Because trust me when I tell you honey, they're gonna need it. ~jcaruncho2010

Oh, I still don't know if the Amazon converty thing costs money, but if it does, MobiCreator Publisher Edition I think it is, is a free program that will convert PDFs and like, Word Docs and the like to Kindle format.

I found mine on Amazon for $15 and it is pink and leather. You just have to search. I couldnt find myself spending $60 on a case with a light but maybe for my birthday in..September!
It's time. Adoption saving and process started in November 2012.

What are the best free books? I downloaded some classics and whatnot from Amazon directly. Lots of F. Scott Fitzgerald and virtually anything of a somewhat academic nature.
What's your case look like? It's a ridiculously cute clutch from Etsy. Just buy it. It's worth it.
Do you have a light? Yup. Got one for Christmas.
OTher Kindleness I should know? Although it sounds like Stephen Hawking is reading to you, I really like the text to speech feature when I'm at work.
Also, I just joined Goodreads today. So I can bug you all on that. But has anyone used the borrowing feature?

I love it. It's padded and I keep headphones and my charger in the zippered pocket. All the sleeves and whatnot I found in the stores were about $20 anyway. It was worth it to me.
What are the best free books? I love all the free classics. I have the complete works of Jane Austen and it makes me all warm and fuzzy to know they're there.
What's your case look like? It's a BUILT case with a cool b/w pattern, and it's reversible. I want one with a light though.
Do you have a light? No. See above.
OTher Kindleness I should know? Sometime in 2011 Amazon will offer sharing, which is awesome.
I got one from FI for christmas! How do I get free books? What is good reads? I just bought the Cleopatra biography. She seems likes a woman who could appreciate SB

<div>Nah, I bet it will be a softward upgrade that you can download.</div>
Libby, you can search "free kindle books" on amazon and a ton will pop up. Mostly classics and erotica. LOL. I was laughing with the titles offered. Somehow I don't think "Pride and Prejudice" belongs in the same book list as "Not the Normal Orgy".
I haven't gotten many free books yet, just the Dragon Tattoo one, and it put the epilogue at the beginning.
As for cases, I've got a grey leather MEdge one (linky), I also got the MEdge light thing to go with it.
And yes, the Kindle convert thing is free, if you have it e-mail you the file instead of directly transferring it to your Kindle (which costs a small amount).
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
I've found tons of free books, Roxy. I get them from Amazon. If you like romance novels, they'll have a never ending supply. Just look in the best selling 100 for free books to get some good ones. It'll be a mix of Christian (which I don't read), classics, and romance novels.
*Skids in* Okay, so I'm getting a black leather cover, with a light attached. It's in transit. I should have it by Thursday. I already downloaded umpteen books and I haven't even touched the free ones yet. Also, Noodle tried stealing mine to read in the living room last night while I was in the bathroom. I told him to GIT HIS OWN.
If I wanted to hear the pitter-patter of little feet, I'd put shoes on the cat.
Nuggs- You're getting the cover I have. It's awesome. The light could blind you if you looked directly into it.
