I had a bad, bad, day!

So today there was an attempted robbery on the bank where I work, everyone is absolutely fine, no one got hurt but it was really stressful!

To make matters worse in the midst of the chaos FI calls me to remind me to buy him lottery tickets, when I proceed to tell him I am very busy and can't talk due to the police being everywhere etc. etc. he hangs up on me and then texts me that I have a bad attitude!!!!

I call him when I finally get off work and he proceeds to be sarcastic and rude, which is completely unacceptable and I tell him this and the gist of it it we are not talking!!

Okay, rant over! I am exhausted!!

    So glad you are okay! Is your FI normally like this? He's being such an ass despite the circumstances you were in.

    Kara- he is honestly acting crazy! He is working until 3 in the morning so we are only arguing over the phone but he honestly doesn't think there is anything wrong with this and he feels that I AM OVERREACTING because the robber didn't actually get any money and that it's not a big deal! I am like WTF??!!!! He still thinks I was being rude and had an attitude because I rushed him off the phone! I am at a loss at this point.

    That must of been so scary! Glad nothing happened to anybody there. I would of rushed off the phone too if all that was going on. Maybe your FI is stressed about something else and taking it out on you?

    Im sorry about your day. Men, even the ones we love often suck ;-). Hopefully he snaps out of his attitude soon. My FH and I are having an off few days as well. Im sure it will pass.

    Sounds like deep down he probably knows he's in the wrong, but since it's too late to backpedal without an apology he's just coming up with whatever BS he can so his point can still stand.  Guys can be so weird about pride.

    Just glad you're OK.  Hopefully he'll get off it and realize that's the most important thing right now.
