Save The Dates Issue

I have a BIG issue!! My cousin was suppose to be doing my save the dates and printing them for me. He's a graphic designer. I asked him if I could have them by mid march so I could send them out. I still havnt gotten them and I feel terrible I kjust think he's too busy at work. Now thats its about mid April what should I do? Should I just say forget it. I have a good amount of OOT guests and that was my main reson for the STDs. Should I just order some from vistaprint and rush them?? Or just not send any at all. Ugh so much to do!

We ordered ours from 123print. They are standard sized postcards, very simple, white with blue flowers. They look great, and best thing was, despite telling me it would take a week for shipping, I got them in a few days.

    Good luck!

How far away is the wedding?
I just did something simple. I purchased a couple of card sets from Michael's, designed something and printed them out. Took no time at all. I only mailed them to all our OOT guests. Just another option to printing them out from Vistaprint.
If you really want to get the word out to the OOT guests who don't know yet you might still do them. If you set up a wedding website you would still need to find a way to inform them of the site so I would do them.

If the wedding is less than 6-8 months away, I'd forget about them. I didn't do STDs, but people pretty much knew about the wedding via word of mouth anyway. I didn't have many OOT guests, and for the ones that were out of the country, I just emailed way ahead of time to give them the info.

But ditto pps on getting them made online. I've heard good things about VistaPrint and I think you can get them cheaply and quickly. Good luck!

Wedding is September 25. Would you think a e-mail wording would be tacky? if I made a wedding website with all the info on it and just e-mailed it out??

so 5 months away....i don't think it's tacky, but i'm sure the etiquette police would! you could just do a quick STD via vista print or something...but IMHO email is fine
