How to list food options on RSVP?

I plan to offer 3 choices:

Filet with lobster tail - potato flan, asparagus
Gulf Grouper with Mango Salsa - Wild rice and string beans
Chicken Piccata - Potato Casserole, mixed veggies

Is it proper to list them out this way?  Is it proper to include the sides?  Or is it better to list as follows:

surf n turf
fish
chicken

Re: How to list food options on RSVP?

  • Agree with PP.  List out the meal description.  Some people may think that surf and turf is some fish they don't like, and would be bummed to find out it's lobster!  I added the sides because I had room, but they aren't necessary.  I also had them initial so I can add it to my escort cards.

[QUOTE]The sides aren't required but the more detail you can provide the better. I would do this: Please initial next to your entree selection. ___ Filet with Lobster Tail ___ Gulf Grouper with Mango Salsa ___ Chicken Picatta Also, I'm jealous. Your menu sounds delicious! :)

Good call on the initialing!  I did not even think about that!
