Venues in Bozeman, MT

Greetings Ladies!

My fiance and I are looking for venue to hold our wedding at (July 2011).  We're looking for two scenerios

1. A venue where we can hold our reception (LIke the Gran Tree or Hilton) and have guests stay there (So it's not a lot of travel and people aren't driving that night) and a pretty outdoor space in Bozeman to get married at

OR

2. A place that we can get married, have the reception and have guests stay over at the location.

Any type of info around the Bozeman area would be greatly appreciated.

LG

We got married in Livingston at the Depot Center - they are affordable and were close enough for us.  The Murray hotel is just across the street so if rooms are still available (and if you consider this, I would suggest calling them ASAP because they book up quickly), guests could walk to their room right after.  During the summer, they only offer use of their courtyard, so you would need to have a backup plan in the event of rain (though they will let you move it inside if that does happen - you just have to set up around their exhibits).  We had both the ceremony and reception there.  If you do your reception, I would recommend a tent anyway so that people have shade.

Hey there. We were looking for a place in Bozeman as well. But decided to stick closer to Yellowstone park and West Yellowstone where the FI's family is from. My favorite place that I actually saw was The woodlands. http://www.montanawoodlands.com/index.html There are two cottages on the property, so you and the FI and bridal party or the family could stay there. I'm not sure if there are many hotels nearby.

Larry Stanley also has some great wedding planning and venue links on his website. http://www.montana-wedding-photographer.com/wedding_venues.php.

We've decided on The Harriman Ranch in Harriman State Park in Idaho. Pretty much all of our guests are coming in from out of town, so we like the fact that everyone can stay together for the weekend. And their facilities are superb with excellent prices.

Just realized that my links didn't work. let me try again:

Let me know if you need any other suggestions. FI's brother lived in Bozeman for awhile and still knows some people. His family is mostly familiar, however, with the Yellowstone area.
