Yay for seeing your FI again Carrie! I have to leave today for a four day business trip, and I really just want to be at home...good thing spring break starts Friday!!

Is this a business trip to colder weather or warmer weather??
That always determines my attitude toward a business trip.

A few years back I got assigned to Fargo, ND for 8 months from July-February. Seriously the worst 8 month period of my life.

It's to San Diego, at a really nice resort, so yea, I can't complain, it could be a lot worse. And, if the rain holds off tomorrow, we get to go hike along the coast for an activity. But, I still just wanna be home, controlling what I eat, drink, when I can exercise, etc. I find that a hard thing to balance when I travel.

I guess we're going to the vet sometime this week.
It seems like Copper's eyes have gotten so bad he can't see at night.

Saturday night he fell in the pool twice and ran into a wall. But he's kept running into things (boxes, legs etc.)
It's hard not to giggle when he runs into something but It's sad

He's had cateracts since we found him but he's always seemed like he can see fine. <div>But I think maybe with the move he doesn't quite know his way around.
We just watch him at night outside and I'll carry him in the dark if we're just passing through the room.</div><div>

Kathleen- Sad to hear about Copper

I'll keep my fingers crossed that it's nothing too bad!

Amanda- YAY 4 months!

There is some random car parked in front of our office. We have 4 assigned parking spots. Guess whose spot he is in?? Blah.

Also, my free 3 month Sirius XM subscription went out today... wondering if I can talk FI into renewing it. Their traffic channel is a godsend sometimes!

BUT I start my vacation this week, so really I should not be complaining.

Kylia, there's a resort in San Diego that Ed is dying to take me to, I think it's called Paradise Point. I suggested it for the honeymoon but he was already dead set on going up the coast.

And I think TK is eating posts again.

I've got a lot of B&Ms but FI finally agreed to go on a honeymoon out of the states so I'm super excited now! Guest list and work issues don't matter so much anymore! Now I just have to figure out the best place to go in late September

My 70 yr old mom was sick all weekend and my dad is out of the country...it was so sad having her call me crying thinking she needed to go to the er. Thankfully she is better.

My other b&m is I want a new job. I've applied at quite a few places, but nada so far. I love what I do but I can't stand some of the people I work with. I pride honesty above anything and people who do nothing but lie and cheat their way into money I can't tolerate.

It's Monday and I'm at work and that's always upsetting. Also, FI started out saying that he didn't care about the invitations. I thought that I would still show him the ones that I liked so he could give his opinion. He has now become the invitation nazi and we can't agree on one! I really wanted to get everything from wedding paper divas because they had some good deals, but now I don't think that's going to happen. We are going to Hallmark tonight to look in their invitation books to try and get some more ideas.

We went to Hallmark tonight to look at their Carlson Craft books. On the way FI totally changed his tune when he realized that not liking what I picked out meant he would have to do some of the work. We actually found a couple that we liked, and the prices were very reasonable! The only thing I liked better about wedding paper divas is that our save the dates would match everything else.
