Hello all,

Just wanted to introduce myself. My FI proposed on 12/19 of last year while ice skating in Rockefeller ice rink in front of the tree. My FI incorporated everything I love (Christmas and NYC) for the proposal and it was everything I expected and more. We have just chosen the place and date and are very excited! We are both from NJ but are currently residing in Albany. I am attending graduate school while my FI is working in Saratoga Springs. We decided on 8/24/12 at Rolling Greens at Duchess Golf and Country Club in Poughkeepsie, NY. It's exactly what we were looking for (a country club with tons of photography opportunities) in a middle location between NJ & NY home. Looking forward to planning with you all and hearing about your plans!

    how funny! I wanted that date and it was the only Friday booked! I went for a tasting already since I never heard of the place before and the food is delish. They will love it!

    haha I came across this doing some research on my venue...I am right in the middle of both your dates, my wedding is at Rolling Greens 8/17/12!
