Airbrush makeup and possibly hair

I never thought I would have to worry about booking hair and makeup this far out, but I have contacted one person who is already booked.

My MOH's sister-in-law is a fantastic hairdresser who has offered to travel out to Geneva to do everyone's hair in the hotel where we're getting ready. I just need to work out details on that. If that doesn't work out, I get the impression that Emie's recommendation of Danette at Unique Touch is the best.

In either case, I'm looking for a makeup artist who does airbrush makeup. The only salon in Geneva that I can find that offers airbrush is at Belhurst and I haven't heard great things about it.

Any salons I'm missing or people who will travel to Genva?

    There are several salons in Geneva that do makeup, but I'm pretty sure Belhurst is the only one that does airbrush.

    If there is a Sephora anywhere near there, they do airbrush.

    The closest Sephora(s) would be the 2 in Eastview Mall, which is about half an hour away.

    A good friend of mine that I compete with had some ladies she knows come to Miss Greater Rochester and do everyone's hair and makeup, for FREE, backstage if they wanted to have it done. I had them airbrush my tattoos, and it's literally like they erased them off my body. Here is the contact info on the card they gave me, I don't know the name of the 2 girls they sent, but I'm sure if you call and mention the girls who came to the Miss Greater Rochester pageant in March, they might be able to help you from there, and they might be willing to travel to Geneva for you!

    That's too funny, Lorna! I saw that woman's name listed as the makeup artist for a wedding that I was looking at online. But when I googled it (using her maiden or middle name because that's what was I listed) i couldn't find any contact info. Thanks you!!! E-mailing her now.

    if that doesn't work out, I am using Sara Lovell out of Rochester.  hairandmakeupbysara.com
     She does airbrush, lashes, etc. and travels (for a small fee). I have her coming to Canandaigua to my hotel.
    I used her for my B-pics, and it was AMAZING! PM me if you need any more info on her or Danette, both are wonderful! (also Sara does hair...)

    I'm also looking for a makeup and hair artist too.  Emie, I might consider Sara, if you've had a great experience with her.  I think I'll email her and see if she's available for my date.  It's hard that I'm not in town, I think I'll end up booking someone before having a consultation with them :(

    I had a FANTASTIC experience with Sara! To the point that I already had a consult with someone else, but decided to go with Sara after meeting her for my b-pics (my photog had booked her for me). I loved her immediately.. and she was so cool.

    (You have the best recommendations. We're 99% sure we're going with Bonnie for flowers - just waiting for her to answer some questions when she gets back from vacation.)

    Amazing pictures Emie!  I emailed back and forth with Sara tonight, and we're going to Skype chat later this week to go over ideas.  Thanks again for the recommendation!  Chelsea, let us know if you set up a Skype time with her too!

    After my BMs saw the pics, they ended up all wanting airbrush too, and Sara was happy to accomodate. I absolutely love the smokey eye and lashes she did on me!!!
     She is helping Danette with the hair too, since there are just too many of us for one person!
