Car Registration and Title

I'm so tired of trying to figure this out. Married ladies, did you add your husband to your car registration and title after getting married? If so, what do you need to bring with you to do it?

Is it bad if I left this under my old name... I really just don't know where to look for my papers and don't feel like going through all this at the DMV?

I am going to upate my car registration and title on Friday, and honestly, I'm not planning on adding him to it. However, when I previously removed someone from my car title before, I only had to bring a copy of the registration and my license. They had me make the changes on the current title as if I were selling the car to myself, and they made the changes in the computer.

I'm not sure sure if it works the same way to add a person to the title, but let us know what you find out!
