photo montage question

How long does a photo montage generally run?  On one end, I'm hearing 10 minutes, and on the other end, I'm hearing 5 minutes.  Is there a standard to which people generally stick to?  What has been your experience with the length of photo montages?

    At the reception? I would say no longer than 10 minutes if you are giving it a designated "spot" all to itself. If you run it while dinner is being served (like background entertainment/music) it could be longer. HTH

    It it's going to be it's own "moment" at the reception, I definitely would not go over 10 minutes.... and would try to keep it more around the 5-7 minute mark. Pictures are great, but you don't want to sloooow things down TOO much for your guests.
