Bridal Showers on the Cheap!

So Knotties - my family needs help as to where to host an affordable bridal shower. Either a place that's no more that $20 or so a person, or perhaps a place that will let us rent the room only and bring in outside food.

I know it's asking a lot - but any thoughts or suggestions?

    Maybe a local church or vfw hall.

    This place Smilie's on Jefferson Hwy. I have never been there but I know someone who did stuff there, but that includes food.

    Most playgrounds (Mike Miley, Pontiff) have meeting rooms you can rent.  You can also try Kenner City Pavillion. I believe that Clearview Mall also has a room to rent.

    Kenner Pavillion is really nice. I helped throw a shower there. I believe it was $125/hour to rent. I would also check with Messina's in Kenner. They have an inexpensive shower menu, the food is really good and the room is pretty. Good luck!

    Audubon Park has a smaller shelter that might work if you are interested in having an outdoor shower.  I think it was $150 or $200 to rent it.  It is near the corner of the park and Walnut St across from Tulane.

    Try Creole Cuisine.  It's a management group that covers 5 or 6 different restaurants in and around the French Quarter, and they can generally fit your budget and needs with one of their restaurants.  www.creolecuisine.com
