Hello all. I plan to wear my hair in a low updo and I know I definitely do want the veil over the updo, I don't like how it looks underneath the updo. I also have a really pretty feather/crystal hair pin that I would like to wear. Is it possible to wear it with the veil? (if anyone has pictures or an explanation of how I would do this) or should I just put the hair pin in after I take the veil off?
Re: Can I wear a veil and hairpin at the same time?
Some people put the pins in on the side and that also looks nice.
Here is a pick of what I am trying to (poorly) describe LOL!
[QUOTE]I would make the hair pin look like it is part of your veil...meaning, put your veil in first and them place the hairpin close to top part of your veil comb. Then after the ceremony, simply remove both and then replace the hair pin. Here is a pick of what I am trying to (poorly) describe LOL!

This is sort of the route I'm planning on going. I am going to do a low, messy bun style for my hair. I have yet to pick my hair comb, but I'm thinking I'll have it placed really close to (almost on top of) the veil so they look like one piece. Then I'll just remove the veil after the first dance at the reception. The other option I'm weighing is to just switch the two out, and when I remove the veil put the comb in.
