I couldn't hold off any longer on hiring a WP and I did today.  I am so thrilled with her and I am looking forward to working with her on my wedding.  Phew!  This is a big check for me and I can stop stressing on how to deal with all the details coming my way in the next month or two.  :)



Love is the ultimate superpower.   
It can make you weak and strong simultaneously.

    Awesome! What kind of stuff will she do for you?

    I don't have a wedding planner, but my venue did come with a day of cordinator which I am SO happy for. She will do things like set up my reception room, make sure deliveries like cake and flowers are in the right spot, direct guests, make sure things are running on time, direct the ceremony, make sure I have everything I need, things like that. I'd probably spaz out without her lol.

    That should help alleviate some stress for you! What types of things is she helping you with?
    I have a day of coordinator just so that my family or I won't have to worry about anything that day. I have some a tight turn around time at dinner so it was necessary (we only get access to the venue at 5:30pm!).

    Ladies she is a dream come true.  She is actually offering her services as if I hired her as a full planner.   She handles everything (contracts, talking to the vendors, vendor recommendations, rehearsal, wedding day timeline, full day coverage for my wedding, etc.).  The only difference in her packages is the amount of legwork she actually does.  For instance with her full planning package she plans the entire wedding for you.  She finds all of your vendors, your venue, etc.  You just tell her what you like and don't like.  So basically all you have to do is pick your gown and show up on your wedding day.  With her other packages you do the legwork with her.  She can either go with you on all of your vendor visits or just some.  All of her packages involve unlimited phone and telephone conversations which she encourages plus I can meet with her when I need to.  She really is awesome and comes with rave referrals and reviews.   She was a budget buster but she is providing an invaluable service to me.  It is worth it.
