  Just out of curiosity, what are you expecting your guests to do with these crystal favors engraved with your monogram?  I can tell you that nearly every one will be thrown out or left on the table.

  I have no idea what I would do with these.  Seriously.  Even a paperweight with my own monogram would be barely used, let alone a papreweight with someone else's initials would be going to the Goodwill.  I would find something else.

   Agree with the others - you are going to have a LOT of these left at the end of the evening.  Please rethink this - why on Earth would this be a thoughtful thank you to your guests?  Would any of them be going out to buy a monogrammed diamond crystal because they have been wanting one?  I do not think so.  No one will want this dust collecting trinket that has YOUR monogram on it.  Go edible.

  If I had something in my home with somebody elses monogram on it (which I never would) somebody might assume I'm a clepto.

  Thanks for the insight everyone...I decided on really nice keychains instead...no engraving.  That could go to good use. 

  
  

  Oh and there will be plenty of sweets at the dinner (sweets tables and the cake)...so that's why I stirred away from edible favors.
