We're about to book our ceremony and reception there for next summer - pending a couple calls to the caterer and alcohol caterer.  I know I've seen a couple concerns regarding pricing of the alcohol - but does anyone have any other comments or helpful thoughts before we book?!  TIA ladies - I'm so excited to at least have a venue and date set!

    I'm 99% sure this is where a friend had her wedding. I was confused by the website. If it's where I'm thinking of, it was beautiful! I was considering using it too but PEC keeps popping up in my head.. haha. I'm probably not helpful but I just wanted to say it's a good choice!

    You should try to talk to Newlyseliski. She got married there last May and I believe she had some sticker shock after she signed when she started looking at their caterers. Their preferred vendors had really high per person costs so you may want to contact them before you sign. I know she loved the site and the wedding reception was beautiful but I think she was having second thoughts after she got the food quotes back.

    Thanks ladies!  I did e-mail a food vendor and the alcohol vendor last night to get more specifics on their rates as well as any fees, etc. as I had seen that in a review by Newlyeliski.  Let me know if you have any other thoughts - its such a big choice I want to try and have limited 'surprises'

    Hi sltommy!  I have reviews and such in my bio and feel free to e-mail me if you'd like more information like invoices (I got quotes from 3 of the 4 caterers) and other more detailed information.  Another knottie, maputz, had her wedding there the weekend after me and passed on some good info earlier on in the planning process.  All the caterers vary in the level of service that they provide and is definitely something to consider! 

    My recommendation for the alcohol vendor if you decide to host anything is to stick with easily quantifiable units like bottles so you won't get stuck paying for a keg that you didn't tap like we did :)
