We asked Jessica of Jessica’s Country Flowers to do our small wedding. I personally have known her for over 30 years. Our wedding was a small affair I was not looking for anything or fancy, just wanted simple and elegant. About 12 days before the wedding I get a Facebook message from her asking if she is doing our flowers. I wrote back that she was there were a couple of messages back and forth. I said I would mail the check. I am not a huge Facebooker so I am not on it all of the time, and I missed a message from her asking that my Mom bring the money over , I live in AZ but the wedding was in CT. So a week goes by and the wedding is getting closer, and she has not called me. So I call her and leave her a message and look on Facbook, and there are several messages that I missed. The last one being that it might be “easier” if I found another florist, and she offered to refund my money. This was 10 days before the wedding. I called her shop again and Facebook messaged her. Over the course of the next 2 days my fiancé and I ask her to call us repeatedly with no phone calls, I left my work number, cell etc. Finally I told her to refund our money. She then send FB message saying she was home sick but was still able to cash my second check (which was sent before this all started), and she was just trying to get us to contact her. So I told her to call my fiancé to discuss the details, as I am completely stressed at this point. Again no phone call she sent a message back saying that she will refund us the money and that she will have it when we come to CT. The wedding was on September 17, 2011. We are still trying to get our money back.
