Best Fall Wedding Favors

I love autumn!  With the weather already starting to feel like fall here in Maine I’m curious what people think is the best fall wedding favor.  My husband and I chose caramel apples!  They were a huge hit – but here were some competitors we debated over…

    If I hadn't moved my wedding (and had kept it in the fall), we were going to do caramel apples! So yummy and fun!

    I never considered doing a favor that was seasonally related.  Our candy buffet was a HUGE hit and I would have done that regardless of when we got married.

    Maybe this isn't exactly "fall," but we are giving each guest a Maine "sapling" tree wrapped in burlap and a purple ribbon at each place setting -- I figure it will be a nice gift, and will also help decorate the tables.  We are also giving each guest a little silver bucket filled with 3 maine maple syrup candies tied with another purple bow.
