Outdoor relaxed wedding venue help

Hello everyone! I hope some of you can help...I'm having such a hard time finding a venue! We just got engaged and are looking for somewhere for august or September 2011. Definitely running late on this because I can't give anyone a date without a venue!!

We live in Tacoma, WA and we wouldn't mind going an hour away if it was perfect. I'm looking for an outside venue for the ceremony and inside or covered for the reception. We are very relaxed and definitely thinking minimum fuss. The easier the better. We want to do BBQ for the reception and no caterer just home cooked good food.

As long as it's pretty I'm good. As I'm looking around online it's seems like people only get married at a handful of spots because the same venues just keep coming up every place I look. If anyone has venue suggestions I'd appreciate it so much.

I'm getting married at the Browns Point Lighthouse Park and having the ceremony inside at the Browns Point Improvement Club.  It's pretty affordable, $1500 for an all day rental on a friday or saturday, 9 am to midnight.  A big selling point for us is that you can bring in your own food and alcohol.  We hired a caterer, but they do have a full kitchen for you to use if you are planning on doing the food yourself.  The building isn't much from the outside, but it was recently remodeled inside and has a great view of the sound. Here is the link to their site in case you're interested!  If you have any questions let me know!

I would suggest browns point also....or maybe Golden Gardens or the Alki Bathhouse.

I think my venue has a super relaxed feel.....but they require a licensed caterer so that wouldn't work.

Ooooo another one is Shangri-La in Enumclaw.

I'm having my reception at the Evergreen Arboretum in Everett, maybe that's too far for you but next to it they also have a little hall you can rent that fits up to 100 people for the reception

My brother and his wife got married at the Aloha Bed and Breakfast in Gig Harbor last summer. The whole wedding party got to stay the night before the wedding and were able to have the facility all day to get ready and decorate. The couple who own the homes (there are 3 on the property) do the catering and the food was great. The views were amazing and we all ate on their huge deck. They didn't need a DJ either because they were able to make an IPod playlist and just let it play. And you can bring your own alcohol. No corking fee. It was very affordable. I'm engaged now and with I could get married there! Maximum guests is only about 70 though.
