Question for the Mansion on Main street brides

So I am having my wedding at the Mansion in Voorhees and I was wondering…..

Any of you did your own set up? How did it go? How early did you come? How was the staff?

I do not have a wedding planner and my bridesmaid and I are all involved in the centerpieces DIY project. I know it will be stressful but I am having a 6:00 PM ceremony plus I really want to work on this!!! CoolCool

Hopefully some of you already had your wedding there and can tell me how it was during set up. Also, did you get ready there?

Thanks for your time!

What exactly does your set up involve? I got married at the Mansion. The staff was AMAZING. I"m sure lots of crap went wrong that day, but I never heard about any of it. They coordinated my flower delivery, cake delivery, quartet getting set up, DJ getting set up, officiant getting ready, etc plus everything that I brought that day. What I'm trying to say, is that they will do a lot for you. I brought all kinds of crap and they set it out and then boxed it all up afterward.

Oh wow there you go you answered all my questions!
I was just wondering about my centerpieces set up.
I have half delivered by a florist and the other half is candle set that I will along with my Bridesmaid set up.
Its good to know that they coordinate the arrival of the vendors : Officiant, DJ, Florist, Photographer, Videographer.

Thanks a lot for your insight!

Oh yeah, they will definitely coordinate everything. It's full service- just show up and get married! I'm not even sure that you will need to set up that candle set yourselves. Call to ask, but you can probably just box it up and take a picture of what it's supposed to look like. I just gave them a box of all of my stuff- menus, cocktail napkins, programs, escort cards, cake cutter, cake topper, toasting flutes, etc and they set everything up.
