sakonnet vineyard or mt hope farm?

Hi! New here. In very early stages of wedding planning hopefully for a late summer wedding 2013. Saw some really pretty pictures of a wedding at Sakonney Vineyard. Same for Mt Hope Farm. Looking for some pricing help. Rough idea how much a wedding at either venue for 100 people would cost? (am aware that band/food etc) not included. Thanks all

    I'm not sure about Sakonnet but I did look at Mt. Hope Farm and for a Sat in 2013 the site rental fee was $5000.

    Mount Hope Farm has beautiful grounds. When I started planning my wedding, I looked into them but they were not in our budget. They also had some internal issues which I believe they have resolved now with their new executive director. 

    Another venue alternative that include pricing info is Linden Place also in Bristol.

    I threw away all of the pricing info I had once we booked another venue, so I may be a little off - but I believe Sakonnet's rental fee was around $5k for Saturday night in June 2013.  Russell Morin is the exclusive caterer there and they do all of the rentals (tables, chairs, etc.).  You will need to rent a few tents (for your reception, a caterer tent, etc.) & I think it was an additional $3k for the tents.

    I remember looking at Mt Hope Farm and it became out of budget once they started adding tent rentals (I believe they said a few K) and renting portapotties. Just added things to think about that increase the price. GL

    We are getting married at mount hope farm in June 2013 we are using the Patio and Barn it is less expensive than the Cove and we do not need to rent a tent if weather goes our way.Peek season Sat are $4000. I think Fridays and Sundays are less.
